Kabir, on the day when I die, afterwards there shall be bliss.

I shall meet with my Lord God. Those with me shall meditate and vibrate on the Lord of the Universe. ||6||

In plain words

Kabir says: on the day my "I" died, joy came after it.

I met my own Lord, and my companions now sing of the Lord of the World.

When the proud "I" dies away, joy comes after.
The deeper layer

When the proud "I" dies away, joy follows, and you meet the One.

Jaa din ha-o moo-aa: the day "I" died. Ha-o means "I," and also the proud, separate self. The words are in the past tense: Kabir has already met prabh aapnaa, his own Lord. Many readers hear this as the death of pride while life goes on, with joy coming after. Others hear it as the day of passing, which for one who loves the One is a meeting. Either way the picture is joy.

The sangee, the companions, now sing of gobind, the Lord of the World. Some readers take the companions to be friends who remember the One together; others take them to be Kabir's own senses, which now turn to the One too.

A Question to Sit With

Who are the people who make your journey brighter just by being with you?
