In plain words

The Beloved I love, that Friend of mine, is with me.

I go about, inside and outside, and still I keep my Friend safe in my heart.

The Beloved goes with you, kept safe in your heart.
The deeper layer

The Beloved stays with the one who loves, carried in the heart through the whole day.

Piree-aa sa-o nayhu is love for the Beloved; say sajan mai naal, that Friend is with me. Hirdai rakhaa samaal: I keep the One cherished in my heart. It is the practice of loving remembrance — holding the Beloved close even in the middle of ordinary things.

A Question to Sit With

Who or what do you keep close in your heart even when you are busy?
