Salok Vaaraan Te Vadheek (Mehl 5), Salok 138 — when everything comes together
ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਜਿਨ ਸਿਮਰਿਆ ਸੇਈ ਭਏ ਨਿਹਾਲ ॥
gur pooraa jin simri-aa say-ee bha-ay nihaal.
Those who meditate in remembrance on the Perfect Guru, are exalted and uplifted.
ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਰਾਧਣਾ ਕਾਰਜੁ ਆਵੈ ਰਾਸਿ ॥੮॥
naanak naam araaDhanaa kaaraj aavai raas. ||8||
O Nanak, dwelling on the Naam, the Name of the Lord, all affairs are resolved. ||8||

Those who remember the Perfect Guru are lifted up and filled with joy.
Nanak says: dwelling on the Naam, every task comes out right.

Remembering the Guru lifts the heart, and dwelling on the Naam sets every task right.
Gur pooraa jin simri-aa: those who remember the Perfect Guru. Say-ee bha-ay nihaal: they are lifted up, glad and blessed. Naam araaDhanaa: dwelling on the Naam. Kaaraj aavai raas: the work of life comes out right.
