Salok Vaaraan Te Vadheek (Mehl 3), Salok 93 — an endless spring

sabday sadaa basant hai jit tan man hari-aa ho-ay.
The Word of the Shabad brings eternal spring; it rejuvenates the mind and body.
O Nanak, do not forget the Naam, the Name of the Lord, which has created everyone. ||60||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Through the Word, it is always spring; it makes mind and body green and fresh.

Nanak says: keep the Naam in mind always — the Naam of the One who made everyone.

Through the Word it is always spring; keep the Naam of the Maker close.
The deeper layer

The Word brings a spring that never ends, and remembering the Naam keeps it green.

Sabday sadaa basant hai: through the Shabad it is always spring. Ordinary spring comes and goes with the calendar; this one lasts. Jin siri-aa sabh ko-ay: the Naam belongs to the One who made everyone, so every person shares the same source.
