My mind's desire for the Blessed Vision of His Darshan is so great. Is there any Saint who can lead me to meet my Beloved? ||1||Pause||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

I cannot bear even a day, even an instant, without Him.

My longing to see my Beloved is so great — is there any Saint who can lead me to Him?

When the longing is too great to bear alone, you look for someone who can lead you home.
The deeper layer

The Pause cannot endure "even one instant" of separation, and turns outward for help: "is there any Saint who can lead me to meet my Beloved?" The longing soul seeks an intermediary — the Sangat, the holy ones who can bring it to the Beloved. Longing reaches for company.

A Question to Sit With

Who would you turn to for help reaching something you longed for with all your heart?
