ਭਈ ਪਰਾਪਤਿ ਮਾਨੁਖ ਦੇਹੁਰੀਆ ॥
bha-ee paraapat maanukh dayhuree-aa.
You have been blessed with this human body.
ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਮਿਲਣ ਕੀ ਇਹ ਤੇਰੀ ਬਰੀਆ ॥
gobind milan kee ih tayree baree-aa.
This is your chance to meet the Lord of the Universe.
ਅਵਰਿ ਕਾਜ ਤੇਰੈ ਕਿਤੈ ਨ ਕਾਮ ॥
avar kaaj tayrai kitai na kaam.
Other efforts are of no use to you.
ਮਿਲੁ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਭਜੁ ਕੇਵਲ ਨਾਮ ॥੧॥
mil saaDhsangat bhaj kayval naam. ||1||
Joining the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, vibrate and meditate on the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||1||

You have been given this human body — your one chance to meet the One.
No other efforts will help you here. Join the company of the holy and meditate on the Name.
This human life is your one chance to meet the One — don't spend it on what can't help.
The human body is "your chance to meet the Lord of the Universe" — the rare opportunity (cf. Shabad 76, Shabad 89). And the means is named plainly: "other efforts are of no use" except joining the Saadh Sangat and meditating on the Name. The opportunity is precious and the method is simple.
