Showing mercy, He joins her to His Feet,
and she finds a deep, heavenly peace and joy.
You don't climb to the One — the One stoops, in mercy, to draw you close.
This one says the friendship with the One begins with the One's kindness.
"Showing His Mercy, He joins her with His Feet." To be joined to the Feet means to be held close, safe and humble, near the One.
Notice who moves. The soul does not climb up a mountain to reach the One. The One bends down to lift her in. Think of a parent kneeling to pick up a small child who cannot reach.
What follows is sookh sahj aanand — peace, calm, and joy. The whole thing is a gift, from start to finish.
A Question to Sit With
When has help come not because you reached up, but because someone reached down to you?
