Every Plant the Gardener Sets Bears Fruit

ਸਗਲ ਬਨਸਪਤਿ ਆਣਿ ਜੜਾਈ ॥
sagal banaspat aan jarhaa-ee.
He brings all sorts of plants and plants them there.
ਸਗਲੀ ਫੂਲੀ ਨਿਫਲ ਨ ਕਾਈ ॥੩॥
saglee foolee nifal na kaa-ee. ||3||
They all bear fruit - none is without fruit. ||3||

In plain words

He brings every kind of plant and sets them in the ground,

and they all bear fruit — not one is left barren.

Every kind of plant the Gardener sets in this garden bears fruit — none is hopeless.
The deeper layer

This one says that every plant the Gardener sets in the ground bears fruit.

Sagal banaspat aan jarhaa-ee means "He brings every kind of plant and plants it there." Saglee foolee nifal na kaa-ee means "they all bloom; not one is without fruit."

In this garden, no one is left out. The big and the small, the quick growers and the slow ones, all bear fruit.

Think of a classroom with a teacher who believes in every child. The shy one, the loud one, the one who struggles with math. Each one blooms in their own time. This picture carries a lot of hope. No life cared for by the Gardener is without hope. The Gardener's care can make even the most unlikely plant bear fruit.

A Question to Sit With

Does it encourage you that no one is finally beyond bearing good fruit?
