Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

I am forever the humble disciple of the One, the Sustainer of the world.

By Your grace, I am satisfied and full.

To be a lifelong learner at the Teacher's feet is to be quietly, deeply full.
The deeper layer

The soul names itself "the chaylaa" — the humble disciple — "forever." Discipleship is not a phase but a permanent posture, and from it comes fullness: "by Your Grace, I am satisfied and satiated." The disciple who follows is the disciple who is filled.

A Question to Sit With

What does it mean to stay a humble student rather than a finished expert?
