One who does not forget the Lord, twenty-four hours a day, is emancipated;

O Nanak, I fall at his feet. ||4||10||61||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
The one who does not forget the One, every hour of the day, is set free;
says Nanak, I fall at that one's feet.
The one who never forgets, all day long, is free — and worth bowing to.
The close honors the one of unbroken remembrance — "who does not forget the Lord, twenty-four hours a day" — and Nanak "falls at his feet." The soul that has woven the Name through every hour is itself worthy of reverence.
A Question to Sit With
Who do you know whose steady goodness, hour after hour, you genuinely admire?
