Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
Says Nanak: the Guru has cleared away my doubt and fear.
With my eyes, I see the One — pure bliss — everywhere.
With doubt and fear cleared away, you see the One — pure bliss — everywhere.
The close: the Guru "has dispelled my doubt and fear," and now "I perceive the Lord, the embodiment of bliss, to be everywhere." Doubt and fear were the veil; with them gone, the One is seen as bliss itself, pervading all. The world, rightly seen, is the One's joy (cf. Shabad 155).
A Question to Sit With
What would the world look like if you saw bliss, not threat, behind it?
