Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
In the love of God, you cross this terrible ocean. In the love of God, you do not fear death.
In the love of God, all are saved. And the love of God goes with you.
Love for the One is the one thing that crosses death with you.
Divine love carries the soul "across this terrible world-ocean" and removes "fear of death" — and crucially, "the Love of God shall go along with you." Like the Name, love crosses the threshold of death; it is not left behind. Love is the one possession that travels.
A Question to Sit With
What would you most want to have with you past everything you'll leave behind?
