He Himself dies and He Himself kills; He sets things up and takes them down.
He created the Universe and instilled His Light into it; one who reflects on the Word meets the Lord, without doubt.
This one says the One holds both living and dying.
Aap marai maaray bhee aap — the One is there in every dying, and behind every ending. Aap upaa-ay thaap uthaap — the One sets things up, and takes them down again. Every coming and going is inside the One.
But the One is not far away from any of it. Sarisat upaa-ee jotee too jaat — the One made the world and put the One's own light inside it.
Think of an artist who draws, erases and draws again, with love for every picture. And there is a way to meet that Artist. Sabad veechaar milan nahee bharaat — whoever thinks deeply about the Guru's Word meets the One, with no doubt at all.
