The Gurmukhs are satisfied with the Lord's Name; searching, they easily find the Lord. ||1||Pause||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Where are you going? O mind, stay in your own home.

The Gurmukhs are satisfied with the Name; searching, they easily find the One.

Stop running out — the One is found by staying home in your own self.
The deeper layer

The Pause calls the restless mind back: "where are you going? O mind, remain in your own home." The One is not found by wandering out but by staying home — in the interior self where the Gurmukhs "easily find" it (cf. Shabad 36).

A Question to Sit With

Where does your mind run to, when home is where it would find what it seeks?
