In plain words

So renounce your greed — you are walking blind! Greed brings nothing but pain.

When the True Lord comes to dwell in the mind, the poison of ego is conquered.

Greed is a blindfold and an ache; the cure is not fighting it but letting the True One move in.
The deeper layer

Greed is like a blindfold. The cure is letting truth move in.

Laalach chhodahu andhiho — let go of greed, you who can't see! The verse gets louder here. Greed narrows what we see. We start to see only the thing we want, until the whole world shrinks down to it.

Laalach dukh bhaaree — greed brings heavy pain. And the pain isn't a punishment added later. Wanting already hurts. The cure is the one the shabad keeps giving. Saachou saahib man vasai — when the True Master lives in the mind, ha-umai bikh maaree, the poison of ego is beaten. Ha-umai means ego, the proud "me" that greed grows from. Think of switching on a light. It doesn't fight the dark. It just moves in, and the dark is gone.

A Question to Sit With

What is one want that shrinks your world when it takes over?
