The one who pushes ahead by his own stubborn will alone is ruined in the end.
This is the pause line, the center of the whole shabad. It says that everything happens by the One's will, and pushing against it wears you out.
Tayraa bhaanaa sabh kichh hovai — "by Your will, everything happens." That will is called Hukam: the order and flow the One has set in everything. Manhath keechai ant vigovai — "the one who acts from stubbornness is ruined in the end."
Picture swimming hard against a river current. You get tired, and you still end up downstream. The trouble is not that the One is angry with you. It is that fighting the way things really are simply does not work.
