Listen to the old wisdom, and you'll start to see:
this whole huge world is just one small piece of that Weaver's endless cloth.
The whole world, as big as it feels, is only a small piece of the Weaver's cloth.
Kabir makes the picture bigger. He says: listen to the Vedas and Puraanas, the old holy books of India. Think about what they teach. Then you will see that this whole world is just one small piece of the Weaver's fabric.
Think of a single square on a giant quilt. Everything we know fits in that one square. The rest of the quilt goes on and on.
That is a humbling thought, and an exciting one. If all of this is just a scrap, how huge must the One's making be? The world feels enormous to us. Yet next to the One, even the biggest things are small. Wonder grows when we see that.
Does it fill you with wonder to think the whole world might be just a tiny piece of something much bigger?
