Without the Naam, I have no other support; the Naam is woven into all my breaths and morsels of food. ||1||Pause||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Chant the Name, turned toward the Guru, and be lifted up.

Without the Name I have no other support; the Name is woven into every breath I take and every bite I eat.

The Name isn't an appointment in your day — it's woven through every breath and every bite.
The deeper layer

The Pause gives a beautiful image of saturation: "the Naam is woven into all my breaths and morsels of food." The Name is not a scheduled practice but the thread running through the most ordinary acts — breathing, eating. This is naam simran as the texture of a whole life, not an appointment in it.

A Question to Sit With

What is something good you could weave through your ordinary day, not set aside for special times?
