In plain words

The vine of the Name has taken root in the one turned toward the Guru.

It bears the fruit of the One — and oh, how sweet its taste!

Plant the Name in a willing heart, and it grows a fruit whose sweetness has to be tasted to be believed.
The deeper layer

The vine image returns (cf. Shabad 33): the Name "takes root in the Gurmukh" and "bears the fruit of the Lord." And the emphasis falls on taste — "its taste is so tasty!" — the delighted, almost childlike savoring of the Har Ras, the sweetness of the One that must be tasted to be known.

A Question to Sit With

What is something so good that no description of it matches actually tasting it?
