Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
Deep within you lies the treasure of the Name; the one turned to the Guru finds it.
Night and day, meditate on the Name and sing the One's praises.
The treasure you're searching for is buried inside you all along.
The treasure is interior: "deep within is the treasure of the Naam." You do not acquire it from outside; you uncover what is already there, as the Gurmukh does (cf. Japji's hidden treasure, Shabad 81's pearls). The whole search turns inward — the wealth was buried in you all along.
A Question to Sit With
What good thing might already be within you, waiting to be uncovered?
