In plain words

Those who are dyed in the True Naam of the One glow with joy, lifted high.

Please be kind to me, O One, kind to the humble.

Without the One, I have no one else at all.

Just as it pleases the One, the One keeps me.

Colored through with the True Name, a person glows with quiet joy.
The deeper layer

Those dyed in the True Naam glow with joy, and you can rest in the One's care.

Nihaalaa is the shining, uplifted joy of those dyed in the True Name. The prayer that follows is trusting and tender: deen dayaal, kind to the meek; tis bin avar nahee, without You there is no other; and a full resting in the One's care — jiu bhaavai tiu raakhai, You keep me however You will. It models turning to the One with complete, unworried trust.

A Question to Sit With

What is something that makes you light up with joy from the inside?
