In plain words

In grace, the One leads a person to meet the True Guru.

Then the One comes to live in that person's mind.

Their thinking grows steady, and their mind stays strong and calm forever.

They sing the praises of the One, the deep ocean of all goodness.

When the One settles in, the mind stops wobbling.
The deeper layer

When the One lives in the mind, thinking grows steady and the heart sings.

Kirpaa karay: granting grace. Aapay aap vasai man aa-ay: the One comes to dwell in the mind. Nihchal mat: a steady, unshakable mind. Man dheer: a mind that stays calm and strong. Gunee gaheer: the ocean of goodness, vast and deep.

Think of a tree that has set deep roots. The wind moves its leaves, and the trunk stays put.

A Question to Sit With

What helps your mind feel steady instead of jumpy?
