O Nanak, peace then comes to abide deep within my mind, and I constantly sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord within my heart. ||4||1||3||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

The Lord of the world, the Ruler of the earth, the Master of all, in kindness brings me to meet the holy one, the Guru.

Nanak says: then peace settles deep inside my mind, and every day my heart sings the praises of the One.

Peace that comes from the One moves in and stays.
The deeper layer

When the One leads you to the holy one, peace settles in and your heart keeps singing.

Jagannaath jagdees gusaa-ee piles up names for the One who holds all worlds: Lord of the world, Ruler of the earth, Master. Kar kirpaa saaDh milaavai: in kindness, the One brings you to meet the holy one. Then saant, peace, comes to live in the mind, and the heart sings har gun, the One's goodness, every day.

A Question to Sit With

What is a song or thought that hums happily in your head all day?
