In plain words

How beautiful is that season when the One fills my mind.

Without the True Guru, the world is crying. The one who turns away from the One comes and goes, around and around, again and again.

The most beautiful season is the one you carry in your mind.
The deeper layer

The most beautiful season is any time the One fills your mind.

This is the rahaa-o, the "pause" line, the center of the shabad. Saa rut suhaavee jit har chit aavai: lovely is that season when the One comes into the mind. In a raag named for spring, the best spring is the one inside you.

Bin satgur deesai billaa-ntee: without the True Guru, the world is seen weeping. A saakat is someone who has turned away from the One. Fir fir aavai jaavai means coming and going again and again, like a merry-go-round that never stops to let you off.

A Question to Sit With

What makes a season feel beautiful to you — the weather, or how you feel inside?
