ਤੇਰੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਤੁਝ ਤੇ ਹੋਵੈ ਅਉਰੁ ਨ ਦੂਜਾ ਕਰਤਾ ॥

ਭਗਤੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਸੋਈ ਤੁਧੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਤੂ ਰੰਗੁ ਧਰਤਾ ॥੨॥
bhagat tayraa so-ee tuDh bhaavai jis no too rang Dhartaa. ||2||
He alone is Your devotee, who is pleasing to You. You bless them with Your Love. ||2||

Your devotee is the one who pleases You, the one You color with Your love.
Even the love you give back is a gift you first received.
Even our love for the One is something the One makes possible.
Tayree sayvaa tujh tay hovai means Your service happens through You. We do not start it on our own.
Jis no too rang Dhartaa means the one You color with Your love. Think of cloth dipped in dye. The cloth does not color itself. The dyer puts the color in. In the same way, the One brushes a heart with warm color. It is spring color, but on the inside, and it turns a person toward the One.
