You are deeper than anyone can measure; I cannot find the bottom of You.
O One, Master of the humble, who else can I tell my pain to?
Please take away the pain of being born and dying, and give me peace.
Kabir says: I sing the praises of the One, the Ocean of peace.
The One is an ocean too deep to measure, an ocean of peace, and every pain can be brought there.
Too athaahu, mohi thaah naahi: You are unfathomable; I cannot find Your depth. Deenaa naath: Master of the humble. Janam maran dukh: the pain of coming and going, of birth and death. Sukh saagar: the Ocean of peace.
Think of a lake so deep that a dropped stone sinks out of sight, while the surface stays calm. Kabir sings of that calm.
Where or with whom do you feel the most peaceful?
