Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

I worship the True Guru, and forever and ever I give myself to the Guru.

Serving this way, I find peace in the Court of the One.

Service with the whole heart is what brings a peace that lasts.
The deeper layer

Serving the True Guru with your whole self brings peace in the presence of the One.

Satgur pooja-o sadaa sadaa manaava-o: I worship the satgur, the True Guru, and keep giving myself over. Manaava-o means to surrender, to please. Aisee sayv dargeh sukh paava-o: such service brings peace in the dargeh, the Court of the One. This is devotion rooted in the heart and in truth, and its reward is peace.

A Question to Sit With

What does it feel like to help someone because you want to, versus because you have to?
