log kahai kabeer ba-uraanaa.
People say that Kabir has gone insane.

Only the One knows Kabir's secret.
When the One knows your heart, the crowd's opinion loses its power over you.
Only the One knows the secret of your heart, whatever people say.
Log kahai kabeer ba-uraanaa: people say Kabir has gone mad. Kabeer kaa maram raam pahichaanaa: the One recognizes Kabir's secret. The shabad ends in the space between the crowd's judgment and the One's knowing. When the deepest witness understands you, the crowd's verdict loses its sting.
