Naamay kee keerat rahee sansaar: Namdev's praise stays in the world. Bhagat janaan lay udhri-aa paar: the bhagat jan, the humble devotees, are carried across with him. Being carried across the water is the old picture of coming safely home. Freedom here is shared, never a solo prize.
