bismil kee-aa na jeevai ko-ay. ||3||
No one can bring the dead back to life. ||3||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Namdev answers, "O king, how could this ever happen?

No one can bring the dead back to life."

Strength starts with being honest about what you can't do.
The deeper layer

Being honest about what you cannot do takes courage, especially when you are in danger.

Baadisaah aisee ki-o ho-ay: O king, how could such a thing be? Bismil kee-aa na jeevai ko-ay: no one who has been killed comes back to life. Namdev does not puff himself up or promise magic. He tells the truth about what a person can and cannot do, even with his life at stake. That honesty clears the ground for everything that follows.

A Question to Sit With

Is it hard to say "I can't do that" out loud? Why do you think that is?
