ਕਹਤ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਜੋ ਜਾਣੈ ਭੇਉ ॥
kahat naanak jo jaanai bhay-o.
Says Nanak, one who understands this mystery,
ਆਦਿ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਦੇਉ ॥੬॥੫॥
aad purakh niranjan day-o. ||6||5||
becomes the embodiment of the Primal, Immaculate, Divine Lord God. ||6||5||

Nanak says: whoever understands this secret
becomes one with the First Being, the pure, shining One.
To know the secret is to start becoming it.
Know this secret, and you become one with the First, Pure One.
Kahat naanak jo jaanai bhay-o: Nanak says, whoever knows this secret. Aad purakh niranjan day-o: becomes the aad purakh, the First Being, the niranjan, spotless and pure, shining One. Knowing like this changes you; you become what you see.
