In plain words

Bathe in the pool of sweet nectar, the wisdom of the holy Guru.

Every wrong you have done is washed away, and it is gone.

Bathe your mind in the teacher's wisdom and the heavy things wash away.
The deeper layer

The Guru's wisdom is a pool that washes the heart clean.

"gur saaDhoo amrit gi-aan sar naa-in" — bathe in the pool of amrit, sweet nectar, which is the gi-aan, the wisdom, of the Guru. Many people bathe at a tirath, a holy pool, on a pilgrimage. Here the pool is inside, and the mind bathes in wisdom.

Then kilvikh, the weight of past wrongs, is washed away. Think of jumping into a cool lake after a long, hot, dusty day. You come out light and fresh.

A Question to Sit With

What helps you set down something heavy you've been carrying?
