Searching inside the little village of my own body, I found the One.
The One is beyond our reach, and the Guru shows us the One right inside ourselves.
Agam agochar means beyond reach and beyond the senses. You cannot touch the One or see the One with your eyes. And yet the Guru points, and suddenly you can sense the One.
Where? Vich kaa-i-aa nagar — inside the body-village. Kaa-i-aa means the body, and nagar means a town. Guru Ram Das pictures your body as a little village with the One living inside it.
Think of playing hide-and-seek and searching the whole house. Then you find your friend hiding right in your own room. The One was that close all along.
