Caught, And Then Shared

ਮ੍ਰਿਗ ਪਕਰੇ ਘਰਿ ਆਣੇ ਹਾਟਿ ॥
marig pakray ghar aanay haat.
I caught the deer and brought them home.
ਚੁਖ ਚੁਖ ਲੇ ਗਏ ਬਾਂਢੇ ਬਾਟਿ ॥੩॥
chukh chukh lay ga-ay baaNdhay baat. ||3||
Dividing them up, I shared them, bit by bit. ||3||

In plain words

I caught the deer and brought them home.

Dividing them up, I shared them out, bit by bit.

Peace you find inside becomes something you can give away.
The deeper layer

What you catch inside yourself is meant to be shared out, bit by bit.

Chukh chukh — bit by bit — the caught game is divided and shared. Inner peace, once won, does not stay private. It overflows into how you treat others. The image carries the langar spirit: what you gather is meant to be distributed, not hoarded.

A Question to Sit With

What is something good in you that you could share with someone in small pieces?
