ਬਿਨੁ ਨੇਤ੍ਰਾ ਕਹਾ ਕੋ ਪੇਖੈ ॥
bin naytaraa kahaa ko paykhai.
Without eyes, how can anyone see?
ਨਾਮ ਬਿਨਾ ਨਰੁ ਕਹੀ ਨ ਲੇਖੈ ॥੨॥
naam binaa nar kahee na laykhai. ||2||

There is a sense behind your five senses, and it gives them meaning.
The Naam is what makes a life count, the way eyes make seeing possible.
