In plain words

By pleasing the True Guru, I have found peace.

By keeping the Guru in mind, I have received every fruit and every reward.

Line yourself up with what is true, and peace tends to follow.
The deeper layer

Drawing close to the Guru brings peace and everything good.

This is the rahaa-o, the pause line, the center of the shabad. Sukh paa-i-aa satguroo manaa-ay — I found peace by lining up with the True Guru. Manaa-ay here means letting your heart agree with the Guru's guidance. It is like tuning a guitar string until it matches the right note. Then it sounds sweet.

Sabh fal paa-ay guroo dhi-aa-ay — keeping the Guru in mind, I got all the fruits. Fal means fruits, or rewards. Everything that matters came along with the peace.

A Question to Sit With

What is something good that arrived only after you got your priorities straight?
