In plain words

They stay with the Guru day and night, and their tongue tastes the sweetness of the One's love.

They know no other. They recognize the Word, and deep inside themselves they know and recognize the One.

Stay close to the Guru, and love for the One starts to color everything you say.
The deeper layer

Live close to the Guru, and love for the One colors your words and fills your heart.

Gur kai sang rahai din raatee means staying with the Guru all day and all night.

Love for the One colors even their tongue. It's like a friend who talks about the thing they love so often that you can hear the joy in their voice.

Avar na jaanas: they know no other. They don't split their heart a dozen ways. Sabad pachhaanas: they recognize the Word. Antar jaan pachhaataa: they find and know the One deep inside themselves.

The One is found close at home, inside the heart.

A Question to Sit With

What's something you love so much it colors how you talk about everything?
