Deep within my being, and outside as well, is the Immaculate Lord God. I bow humbly before that Primal Lord God.
ਘਟ ਘਟ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਸਰਬ ਨਿਰੰਤਰਿ ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਚੁ ਵੇਸੋ ॥੨॥

Deep within each and every heart, and amidst all, the Embodiment of Truth is permeating and pervading. ||2||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Inside me and outside me is the pure One. I bow to that First One.

Deep in each and every heart, and in all things with no gaps, the One whose form is Truth is everywhere.

The same pure presence fills every heart — inside you and inside everyone.
The deeper layer

The pure One is inside you, outside you, and in every heart.

Niranjan means pure, without a spot of dirt. Aad purakh means the First One, there before anything began. Guru Nanak bows to that One.

Ghat ghat antar means inside every single heart. Sarab nirantar means in all, with no gaps.

Think of the WiFi in your home. It isn't only in one room. It fills every room, and every device can connect. The One is like that, and far more. The same true presence fills every person.

Not just some people. Not only people like us. Every single heart, with no exceptions.

A Question to Sit With

How might you treat people differently if you kept that in mind?
