ਕੋਟਿ ਖਤੇ ਖਿਨ ਬਖਸਨਹਾਰ ॥
kot khatay khin bakhsanhaar.
He forgives millions of sins and mistakes in an instant.
ਭਗਤਿ ਭਾਇ ਸਦਾ ਨਿਸਤਾਰ ॥੨॥
bhagat bhaa-ay sadaa nistaar. ||2||
Through loving devotional worship, one is emancipated forever. ||2||

Purakh niranjan: the pure, spotless One. Jee-a jant dayvai aahaar: food for every creature, a note of care for all. Kot khatay khin bakhsanhaar: millions of mistakes forgiven in a moment; grace keeps no long tally. Bhagat bhaa-ay: loving devotion, and through it, freedom that lasts.
