Kings Bow At That Door

Millions of kings with their crowns and canopies bow before Him.
ਕੋਟਿ ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਠਾਢੇ ਹੈ ਦੁਆਰ ॥
kot indar thaadhay hai du-aar.
Millions of Indras stand at His Door.
ਕੋਟਿ ਬੈਕੁੰਠ ਜਾ ਕੀ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟੀ ਮਾਹਿ ॥

Millions of heavenly paradises are within the scope of His Vision.

Millions of His Names cannot even be appraised. ||3||

In plain words

Millions of kings with crowns and royal umbrellas bow before the One.

Millions of Indras, kings of the heavens, stand waiting at the One's door.

Millions of paradises fit inside a single glance of the One.

The One has millions of Names, and no one can put a price on them.

The greatest powers you can imagine are small before the One who holds them all.
The deeper layer

Even the greatest kings bow at the One's door.

Millions of chhatarpat, kings with crowns and royal umbrellas, bow down. Millions of indar stand waiting at the door. Indra is the king of the heavens in old Indian stories. Millions of baikunth, heavenly paradises, fit inside one glance of the One. And the One has millions of Names, each one beyond price.

Picture the most famous people in the world lining up quietly at one front door. That is how great the One is. Indra and the heavens are named with respect. They are pictures of grandeur, and the One is greater still.

A Question to Sit With

What is the biggest, grandest thing you can picture — and can you imagine something that holds even that?
