The One is the deepest heart of everything, the master and the servant both.
The One made people of every kind and background — every single one belongs.
The One is never wrong and never unfair; its sense of right is perfectly true.
And a heart guided toward the One finds its doubts and divisions melting away.
This Pauree makes the Vaar's equality teaching explicit: "He Himself created the people of the eighteen castes" — all of them, every social rank, made by and belonging to the one Source. If one Maker made every kind of person, then caste and class distinctions have no ultimate weight — a radical claim in its time and a cornerstone of Sikhism. The One's justice is "totally True" and "never errs." The line "He Himself kills and He Himself redeems" is the mystery of a single source behind all of life's turns, held with trust. And doubt and division "depart" from a heart turned toward the One — including, the Vaar implies, the divisions between people.
If everyone was made by the same source, what does that say about treating people as equals?
