Raag Bilaaval
Commentary

Raag Bilaaval, Dupda, Mehl 5 (Guru Arjan)

One presence fills every heart — inside you, and everywhere around you.

The Arc

The Rahau doubles the protection — here and beyond, both set right by the brave teacher. The first verse brings peace and natural ease through the Name, and settles the restless coming-and-going into steadiness. The close is the shabad's oneness: the one same presence filling every heart, beheld within and all around, with no seam between them.
