ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸਬਦਿ ਉਜਾਰੋ ਦੀਪਾ ॥
satgur sabad ujaaro deepaa.
The Shabad, the Word of the True Guru, is the light of the lamp.
ਬਿਨਸਿਓ ਅੰਧਕਾਰ ਤਿਹ ਮੰਦਰਿ ਰਤਨ ਕੋਠੜੀ ਖੁਲ੍ਹ੍ਹੀ ਅਨੂਪਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
binsi-o anDhkaar tih mandar ratan koth-rhee khulHee anoopaa. ||1|| rahaa-o.
It dispels the darkness from the body-mansion, and opens the beautiful chamber of jewels. ||1||Pause||

There is only One. And the One is found by the True Guru's grace — a gift that is always here, waiting for an open heart.
The word of the Guru is the light of the lamp.
The dark inside the house of the body is gone, and a beautiful room full of jewels has swung open.
One small light can open a room you did not know you had.
satgur sabad ujaaro deepaa — the Shabad as the lamp. rattan koTh-rhee khulHee anoopaa — the incomparable jewel-chamber within the body-house swings open. The treasure was inside all along.
