Wonderstruck at What I Found

bisman bisam bha-ay ja-o paykhi-o kahan na jaa-ay vadi-aa-ee.
I was wonderstruck and astonished, when I looked inside; I cannot even describe its glory and grandeur.
magan bha-ay oohaa sang maatay ot pot laptaa-ee. ||1||
I am intoxicated and enraptured with it, and I am wrapped in it, through and through. ||1||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

When I looked inside, I was so amazed I had no words — nothing I could say could hold how wonderful it was.

I got happily lost in it, soaked right through, woven into it like thread through cloth.

Some good things leave you happily without words.
The deeper layer

bisman bisam bhaay — wonderstruck and astonished; ot pot laptaa-ee — woven through like warp and weft. Wonder (vismaad) is the doorway.

A Question to Sit With

When were you so amazed you could not describe it?
