In plain words

Those You draw close, my One, bathe in the Guru's cool pool of contentment.

In it the clouded, heavy thinking simply rinses off. Nanak says: singing the One, the Guru's servant comes out light and is carried across.

The clouded, heavy mind is dirt that rinses off in the pool of contentment.
The deeper layer

The Guru's pool washes heavy, cloudy thinking away, like a bath at the end of a long day.

Santokh gur saraa — the Guru's pool of santokh, contentment. Contentment means feeling that you have enough. The ones the One draws close get to bathe in it.

Durmat mail ga-ee — the dirt of bad thinking is gone. Confusion is pictured as mail, ordinary dirt. Think of coming home muddy after a football game. Mud washes off in the shower. It is never a stain that stays forever. That is a hopeful way to end: whatever is clouding you can be rinsed clean.

A Question to Sit With

What is your version of a 'reset' that leaves your mind feeling washed clean?
