that my forehead may touch the feet of the Saints, and my eyes may behold the Blessed Vision of their Darshan, and my body may fall at the dust of their feet. ||1||Pause||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Bless me with this kindness, God:

let my forehead rest at the feet of the saints.

Let my eyes see them, and let my body touch the dust of their feet.

Real learning starts with being humble enough to receive it.
The deeper layer

Learning starts with a humble heart, and a humble heart is a gift to ask for: aisee kirpaa mohi karahu, give me this kindness.

This is the Rahao, the "pause" line at the centre of the shabad. Santeh charan hamaaro maathaa: let my forehead rest at the feet of the saints. Nain daras: let my eyes see them. Tan Dhoor: let me sit in the dust of their path.

Think of a new player who watches the best player closely and learns every move. Humility here is not about being small. It is about being open enough to learn.

A Question to Sit With

Who is someone you would love to learn from just by being near them?
