All of Me Is Yours

mohi nirgun gun naahee ko-ee pahuch na saaka-o tumHree ghaal.
I am worthless; I have no virtues at all. I cannot understand Your actions.
tumree gat mit tum hee jaanhu jee-o pind sabh tumro maal. ||1||
You alone know Your state and extent. My soul, body and property are all Yours. ||1||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

I come with empty hands, no great goodness of my own to show, and I cannot even measure all You do.

Only You know how vast You are; my breath, my body, everything I have is already Yours.

You do not have to prove your worth to be fully held.
The deeper layer

mohi nirgun -- literally without virtue; carried as coming with empty hands. gat mit tum hee jaanhu -- only You know Your own measure. jee-o pind sabh tumro -- soul and body already belong to the One, so there is nothing to earn.

A Question to Sit With

Do you ever feel you must earn love, and what would change if you knew you already had it?
