In plain words

Your body is like a field, and every day you plant something in it by what you do and think.

Tend it with care and the most precious thing of all grows there -- and it pours into a heart that has been softened by love.

*Your body is a field; what you plant is what you harvest.*
The deeper layer

Your body is like a farm field.

Ih sareer karam kee Dhartee means this body is the field of karam, of action. What you do and think each day is like planting seeds. Gurmukh math math tat kadha-ee-aa means the gurmukh, the one who follows the Guru, works the field over and over and draws out the tat, the real essence. Think of a school garden. You water it and pull the weeds, and one day something good is ready to pick.

Laal javayhar naam pargaasi-aa means the ruby and jewel of the Name shines out. Bhaa-o pavai tit a-ee-aa means it pours into the vessel of love. The treasure fills a heart that love has made ready.

A Question to Sit With

What are you planting in yourself with the way you spend your days?
