blessed Dhanna and Sain; all those who joined the humble Saadh Sangat, met the Merciful Lord. ||7||

In plain words

Namdev, Jaidev, Kabir, Trilochan, Ravidas who worked with leather, blessed Dhanna, and Sain --

seekers from all kinds of families and all kinds of work joined the Sangat, and every one of them met the kind and loving One.

*Seekers of every background found the same welcome.*
The deeper layer

People from every kind of family found the One, and their names are kept. They are bhagats, devotees whose songs are kept in the Guru Granth Sahib: Namdev, Jaidev, Kabir, Trilochan, Ravidas, Dhanna and Sain. Several came from families the world ranked lowest.

Ravidaas chami-aar chama-ee-aa — Ravidas, who worked with leather, is named plainly and with honor. His work was looked down on in his time. Here it stands beside his name like a badge. Dhanna was a farmer, and Sain was a barber.

Jo jo milai saadhoo jan sangat — whoever joined the Sangat of the humble mili-aa har da-ee-aa, met the Merciful One. Think of a class photo where every face matters, no matter who stands in the front row. These names are living proof that the door in the verse before is open to all.

A Question to Sit With

What does it tell you that the most honored seekers came from families the world looked down on?
