They meet the Formless Lord God. ||3||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

My mind is tied to the One with a string of love and closeness.

This is the clean, clear way of the saints: they let go of what is harmful, and they meet the One who has no shape at all.

*Love is the string that keeps your heart tied to what is good.*
The deeper layer

man dor paraym preet -- the mind tied to the One by a string of love. sant nirmal reet -- the immaculate way of the holy. har milay prabh nirankaar -- meeting the Formless One, the nirankar of the Mool Mantar.

A Question to Sit With

What keeps you tied to the people and things you love?
